        • Starting a very early 5x5 watch for MC-W. He has 3 steals and 3 blocks with 6 minutes left in the 1st half. He only has 2 points, 1 assist, and 1 rebound, but I figure the other 3 categories will be a given if he plays enough tonight.

          • Finishes with only 8/4/3/3/2. 2-11 FGs, 0-2 3pts.

But Brandon Davies got 4 pts and 2 rebs in 14 minutes!

Davies had a sweet block on a Jeff Ayers dunk attempt. He has cracked the rotation and is the backup 4 right now.

                    • Michael Beasley had only played in 2 games for the Heat before tonight, taking only 11 shots but making 7 of them. Tonight he has scored 16 points on 7-11 shooting in 16 minutes.

                      • LeBron's stunning shooting last year gave him a 60% eFG%. So far this year he is at 64%. (58.6% FGs and 50% 3s)

His TS% this year is 67% so far. Kevin Durant is shooting 12.2 FTA/gm (which is absurd, and not like "wow he's really good absurd" but rather "it sucks to watch OKC games because of how absurd his FT line parade is each game) and making 89% of them. And yet with that FT% bounce, his TS% is still 4.5% behind LeBron's.

                        • JJ HIcksons dunk over Marv was nice. But Xavier Henry stole the show last night.

                            • Philly continues to compete and move further away from the #1 overall, but it's interesting to see how they tend to have somebody else step up and play big, game to game. Tonight James Anderson goes for 36 on 12-16 and all Tony Wroten did, filling in for MCW and starting at point, was get a triple double.
                              I'm like LeBron James.

                              • Spurs up 25 late in the fourth against Washington. Tim Duncan 1-12 from the floor. Yikes.
