Maybe that's enough to push SF ahead of Seattle in the ESPN power rankings.
This guy was with the Browns ever since they started them up again back in the late 90s. Jason Hanson has been with the Lions since 1992.
David Akers was train wreck last year. He cost the Niners at least one win and if he would have hit on a 54 yarder in overtime vs. the Rams, they would have had two more wins (lots of kickers routinely miss 54 yard field goals so I don't pin that loss necessarily on Akers). By around the 8th or 9th game of the year, no kick over 35 yards was guaranteed.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”
The new Miami Dolphins logo has been released. I don't get why trademarks are swapped out so frequently. Rarely does it make sense. Tampa Bay Bucs going away from the gay Errol Flynn logo? Makes perfect sense. But Miami changing there's makes no sense.
The Jazz change back in the 90s was a bad idea and they've finally gone back to something that is basically the original. You don't see the Celtics, Lakers, Knicks and Bulls dramatically changing their logos.
In the non-Sports world, Wendy's is changing there trademark to something far less distinctive. Pepsi changes there's once every few years. Meanwhile Coke keeps on going with probably the most memorable and classic trademark that hasn't changed much in over one hundred years.

He went for a jump ball in the corner of the end zone and came down hard on it. Unfortunately they aren't in pads yet which could have possibly saved him.
"They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Maybe if Pitta didn't fall down after making 95% of his catches, he wouldn't have been injured.
