Rams reach out to Brett Favre about QB position. He politely declines. Man, that would've been awesome.
"They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Damn it, I didn't make my picks before the Thursday night game. I thought the Panthers v. Bucs game was going to be one of the easier picks this week.

      Anyway:

      Cowboys over Detroit (-3)

      49ers (-17) over Jacksonville

      Chiefs (-9) over Browns

      Patriots (-7) over Dolphins

      Saints (-11) over Bills

      Giants over Eagles (-6)

      Bengals (-7) over Jets

      Steelers (-3) over Raiders

      Cards (-1) over Falcons

      Broncos (-14) over Redskins

      Packers (-10) over Vikings

      Seahawks (-11) over Rams

This is a really bad slate of games this week, hence a lot of big spreads. The only interesting game is the Cowboys at Detroit. The Saints are coming off a bye and loss, and I think that Bills game would otherwise be somewhat of a trap game.

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Is it just me, or did Chris Bermans schtick get old about ten to fifteen years ago?

It's not just you. If you're looking for some good entertainment, YouTube: "Chris Berman rant".

I wonder what Dez Bryant was so pissed off about.

9-2 this week. I'll be 10-2 if the Seahawks cover tonight which is almost a certainty IMO. Through three weeks, I'll be 9 games over .500.

I went 10-3, if you're counting Seattle as a winner. I missed Oakland, Cards, and the Chiefs.

Tavon Austin sucks. His failure to field that punt might have cost the Rams the chance to come back.

You spoke too soon. If they fail to score it is no longer on Austin.

Hawks lucky to get a W because they were absolutely dominated. Pass protection was insanely bad and mcquistan got burned about 100x.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
