That was very strange. As great as Curry was throughout the series, his fourth quarter was dreadful. And that had to have been a record for steals/turnovers off of inbound plays by GS. And overall, double digit turnovers in a single quarter. Denver's defense for much of the quarter was intense, but still... Bogut was a beast, though.

Took some stones on the part of Mark Jackson to go with the two rookies down the stretch. GS nearly gave that game away, but I was glad to see Jackson rewarded for sticking with Green and Barnes.
It's a shame that series is over. GS is going to be a dangerous group going forward. A healthy Bogut makes them so much better - especially for playoff basketball.I'm like LeBron James.

Yep. Especially if David Lee is, in fact, healthy and ready to go. He and Bogut down low are a tough combination and complement their killer shooting guards very well.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostGS is going to be a dangerous group going forward. The 4 is sort of lost position on that team. Lee is a terrible defender and Landry is undersized and neither demand the ball on offense, nor is the offense designed to go through them. Without Lee I think they've played a bit more the way they were designed to play.Originally posted by bluegoose View PostYep. Especially if David Lee is, in fact, healthy and ready to go. Of the guys on their team that played at least 25% of team minutes, Lee had their best on/off court net at +7.7. I think towards the end of the season they were finally incorporating him well into what they wanted Curry and Thompson to do on offense as well.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostThe 4 is sort of lost position on that team. His game has never been based on athleticism, which is why he can still produce at his age. His knowledge of the game really has made him great. I could see Dre playing another 2-3 years in the NBA. I also hope that with his knowledge of the game of basketball that he ends up as a coach at Utah someday.Originally posted by fusnik View PostI can't believe Dre is playing meaningful minutes on a team at his age.
I'll never forget hanging with him one dat at Pineview Reservoir the summer before the draft, dude didnt even have money to buy a proper swim suit. He was wearing bball shorts from the warriors and a work out shirt from the Cavs, unreal. As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Chrissy Paul. Ever the cheap shot artist.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Thibodeau is a defensive genius. There shouldn't be any NBA coach, other than Pop, that gets paid anything close to Thibs. But I think his latest contract extension only put him in the middle of the NBA salary tree.
I think one thing Thibs does so well against LeBron James is create a scheme that benefits from James being too unselfish. We saw it again tonight. His defense can shut down on Bosh and take away the corner 3's that Miami thrives on, and he can sell out on those other things because more often than not James won't go into "eff you" mode and score 40. This is a series where Miami would be far better off if James turned into a scorer and much less of a facilitator. If they can keep Wade to 14 points when he's primarily being guarded by Marco Bellinelli then Wade failed miserably. This is definitely a series where James would be better served flipping the Michael switch instead of being Magic. And right now, I think that might be the "biggest" weakness in his game, is a relative unwillingness to win that way.

Yep, I think Lebron is to blame for this one by doing absolutely nothing through the first 34 minutes or so tonight -- I think he hit is third FG with just a few minutes left in the 3rd quarter. The guy's gotta shoot it more and I would tell Lebron that for this series if he's shooting over 45% from the field then he isn't shooting enough.Originally posted by BGRTHNUMEGO View PostThibodeau is a defensive genius. Watching the SA/GS game, and I saw a guy that looked exactly like Richard Jefferson in GS gear. Weird."Sure, I fought. I had to fight all my life just to survive. They were all against me. Tried every dirty trick to cut me down, but I beat the bastards and left them in the ditch."
