Parise makes a huge difference for the Wild. I thought the only time Chicago didn't dominate was when Parise was on the ice.

Hard to disagree, but coming into last night's game, the Wild had all of 1 goal from outside the Koivu-Heatley-Parise line, and they scored two last night.

There is no good reason for anyone to hate Chicago. The Blackhawks are a example of everything that is good about the NHL. The triumph of Bill Wirtz's sons over the evil of their father is one of the greatest victories for good in the history of this world. If you hate the Blackhawks, you are essentially saying that you support evil.

The Red Wings have been my team ever since I attended games of a minor-league affiliate in Kalamazoo as a little kid. I enjoyed the Blackhawks when I was in Chicago. I respect any original six team except for Montreal. I have an inexplicable dislike for Montreal.

I don't really hate any team. I hated the Flames back in the Lanny McDonald days, but Iginla made me a fan.

Seriously, I feel your pain. Losing in Game 7 of the ECF to the Bruins two seasons ago was hard for me too.

I have respect for Calgary, good team, good fans. It also helps that the GM that helped build our Stanley Cup team (Jay Feaster) is now your GM.

Hate is probably strong. But to see a division rival win a Cup in the midst of the Blues rebuild doesn't exactly engender love and adoration.
