My Flames lost to the Sharks 4-1. Sportswriters are declaring that it's time for Calgary to clean house.

They may be right.

It's a shame they haven't been able to build a better team around Iginla. He was awesome in the Olympics on the Crosby line.

Calgary is short on skill. It's Iginla, Cammalleri, Bouwmeester, maybe Tanguay, and a bunch of replacement-level skaters. Hopefully Iginla decides he wants to win a Cup and accepts a trade at the deadline.

It would be nice to have Iginla on the Blackhawks. If he wants to win a cup that is where he will need to go.

Vancouver looks vulnerable. If we can't win there, things could get very bad.

Miller was his old self last night vs. the Leafs and the trades for Steve Ott and John Scott are paying off in the locker room and in overall attitude. If this team doesn't make at least the conference finals, it will be a huge disappointment.

I think there is a real good chance Chicago wins it this year if Crawford holds up in net. I am a bit worried about the Blues though. It's a good thing that I see the Chicago and the Blues as the 1 and 2 seeds respectively which means that we probably would would not have to face them until later playoff rounds.

Ryan Miller could be the best goalie in the league, if he stays healthy. And I really like Vanek.

In this shortened season, all 30 teams have a shot. Buffalo should make the playoffs, and who knows from there.
