If I was Betteman I honestly would fear for my life every time I entered Canada. They hate him up there and this current lockout won't help that at all. Just when hockey was starting to fully recover from the lost season they do this again, how stupid are they?Comment

I find myself hoping the Red Wings lose, and that's about it. I was more invested years ago when Ray Bourke played for the Avs and I enjoyed watching Dallas Stars teams around the same time play. I had a roommate from Canada at BYU and he kind of got us in to it.
Now I'd consider myself a pretty casual fan and I haven't followed it for a long time. Hockey needs to get more casual fans to be relevant going forward, imo.Will donate kidney for B12 membership.Comment
