The Lions took the short guy from Oklahoma with the torn ACL instead of Reuben Randle. I'm not familiar with either player; is the Okla. guy that much better?

Yes imo, Randle is incredibly raw. Lions want a nasty slot guy and Broyles will be that in spades.

I personally don't think it was just money. I don't think Harbaugh and Peyton could have got along.

Rueben out of LSU is still available.
Back your bags Anthony Dixon. This pick is his replacement.

I feel the same, the only thing that's ever impressed me about Osweiler is his height. It only got mentioned every broadcast 6-90 times.

I think Foles is going to be a nice NFL QB.

And yet there's never been a successful QB who's over 6'5, although Flacci might be 6'6. If anything, his height should have turned them off.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

He said it that is what people want to remember him by..."remember that tall QB from ASU what was his name? You know, the one with the stupid tattoo?." "Oh yeah...I don't remember, but that tattoo WAS goofy."

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Does Pittsburgh pick the NT out of UW, is he any good?

                    • Philly takes Nick Foles, in two years they'll convince someone to give up a first or second round pick for him.

                          • I really like the LMJ pick in the third round. It's a good value pick for a guy who reminds me a ton of a guy like Eric Metcalf or Lionel James. He'll make plays catching passes out of the backfield, should be a stud in the return game and will be a nice change of pace back as well.
                            I'm like LeBron James.

                            • Tony Bergstrom to the Raiders. Good for him. Gruden had some high praise for the big fella...looks to be a guard at the next level.

DerMichael was picked in the second, albeit at the end of the second.
