Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

That's mostly because Luck has never been a viable option. If he's there at 2, no Redskin fan should be shedding a tear over getting Andrew Luck.Originally posted by UtahDan View PostYeah I think we have our hearts set on him. But one could easily, easily get used to Andrew Luck."They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Exactly. And yet, if the Redskins were to get Luck, many would do just that (and I'm not sure you and UD wouldn't, quite frankly).Originally posted by DrumNFeather View PostThat's mostly because Luck has never been a viable option. Some dude at CBS has the Redskins taking a BYU DL in the 6th round:
DT/NG Hebron Fangupo, BYU (NFLDraftScout.com ranking: 168)
The Redskins have a solid defensive line but every club is looking to develop interior linemen, especially those with the strength and frame to handle the invaluable nose guard position. What Fangupo may lack in name recognition among fans, he makes up for with strength and tenacity. Some clubs have concerns about Fangupo's health, which could push him down the board a bit. The team, assuming they do not have the same concerns, would be fortunate to see him available with their sixth round pick, No. 173 overall."They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.

FOX sports mock draft has this BSU player going in the first round. The BSU coaching staff has done a great job of turning two and three star recruits into first round draft picks.
Shea McClellin, OLB, Boise State
McClellin is the guy I have rising rapidly up my draft board. He wasn’t the biggest high school recruit and never was the most heralded NFL prospect at Boise State, but his senior season was a monstrous one. He had 12 1/2 tackles for a loss and seven sacks and contributed on 50 tackles. He’s an active defender who could be the other 3-4 OLB so sorely needed in Dom Capers’ Green Bay defense.

Happy NFL Draft Eve everyone!
We know what happens at #1 and #2, but after that, there's a lot of intrigue as to where Minnesota will go as well as Cleveland. Who takes Ryan Tannehill? Will Mel Kiper blow his top over a questionable first round pick?
Man I love the draft!

This is what I hate about the NFL Draft, for some reason both the Colts and Redskins are still going to use the full clock to make their pick. I'd love Roger Goodell if he got up tomorrow night and said "Welcome to the 2012 NFL Draft, with the 1st pick the Indianapolis Colts select Andrew Luck from Stanford University, with the 2nd pick the Washington Redskins select Robert Griffin 3 from Baylor University. The Minnesota Vikings are now on the clock."Originally posted by DrumNFeather View PostHappy NFL Draft Eve everyone!

When does he have Turbin going? I'd love if he were available for the Niners in the 3rd round. But I think he's gone by the middle of the 3rd.Originally posted by DrumNFeather View PostMcShay released his 7 round Mock today. 3 Aggies, 2 Cougars, and 1 Ute.

Turbin
Smith
Reynolds
Fanguapo
BergstromPart of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”
