Jimmer is looking a little worn down. I hope we run away from CSU so he can get some rest in the second half and be ready to hit it hard against the Aztecs.

I had most of today off and caught Cowherd's TV show with that blond lady. They did a segment with Hubert Davis where a statement was made and Cowherd and Davis would each hold up a true or false sign for their answer. After they argued each question the results of a poll was revealed to determine who was most correct. The statement "Jimmer Fredette is the player of the year" came up and Davis answered true. Cowherd answered false and went off on how "no good players come out of the WAC, they have teams in San Diego and Hawaii, the only thing they're good at is skiing and surfing". He also said that nobody in the "WAC" plays anybody good. The poll results were 70% true so Jimmer got his revenge. It was funny that nobody on the set called him on the WAC thing though. What's it been now 15 years or so?

Jimmer has a calf contusion from Saturday's game, did not practice today. Rose is very close mouthed on his options.

On his radio show Rose implied that they might rest Jimmer vs. CSU in order to play Jimmer vs SDSU. By close mouthed, I meant Rose didnt say if they'd play KC in Jimmer's place if he did rest, or what lineup they would use if Jimmer were at less than 100%.

Jimmer doesn't know how he got it. On Sat they told him to rest on Sunday and they would evaluate his contusion on MOnday at practice. Today, they decided to hold him out of practice. Maybe Wrubell has more details- he was interviewing Rose.

As I stated somewhere (there are so many basketball related threads, it is starting to feel like CB), I think CSU and NM are much more important games to BYU's seeding than SDSU. The Aztecs are for bragging rights and pride, but winning likely won't elevate BYU to a 1 seed. Losing to either NM or CSU could drop BYU to the dreaded 4 seed.

I love that SDSU is trying to piss off Jimmer. They've been chanting his name every game. Now they're selling this shirt and bombarding his girlfriend's Facebook which she has disabled:

It's actually a good article and I believe it's by the same guy who wrote that other great Jimmer'd article after the first meeting. Also, SDSU says they won't allow anyone into Viejas with that shirt and Fisher has made a statement saying it crossed the line. Facebook also removed the site for the creator's group citing harassment.
