Maybe I'm biased, but Jimmer was getting karate kicked, slap chopped, and his face pushed into the floor on his way to the basket. He had a legit complaint."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"

Yes, there was a decent disparity. That shouldn't be troubling to anyone who watched the game, nor should it be troubling in general to anyone who understands a bit about basketball. A team like BYU who pushes the ball constantly and has multiple players who can take it to the hole should be expected to create a foul disparity in most games. The issue with the Utah game is that the foul disparity should have been much larger.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostWell, I didn't see the game but my (masochistic) Ute fan friends who did say Jimmer was getting the calls, not the other way around. I believe them.
p.s. - Wasn't there a pretty significant disparity in fouls called between BYU and Utah? I really don't know but saw someone complaining about that. I believe that person too.
I'm not one to complain about the refs and rarely do, but that game seemed to be on in which the refs were worried about the growing disparity and decided to try to keep it down by ignoring obvious fouls.

It doesn't do us any favors when we cite our homer announcer's blog. There are too many unbiased Jimmerphiliacs out there to need to resort to Wrubell's commentary.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostGet used to falafel ruining things and it starts to become cute, like when your kids destroy things at your house.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. Yeah, but if your offense consists of dribbling at mid-court for 20 seconds, swinging it from guard to guard 30 feet out for 10 seconds and then jacking up a prayer you usually aren't going to draw many fouls.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostWell, I didn't see the game but my (masochistic) Ute fan friends who did say Jimmer was getting the calls, not the other way around. Yea that was low. Let me lift your spirits. I like Boylen. I think he tries hard and demands discipline from his guys on and off the court. In time I think he can field a good team. I hope the Ute big shots look at the big picture and don't just focus on wins and losses.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostSure, go ahead, kick me while I am down.
