I received a text from my FIL. He was at the TCU game. Apparently he was sitting next to or within earshot of Jimmers girlfriends roommate. She confirmed that the rumors of Whitney being the one putting the brakes on. Her reasoning: Jmmer is not an RM.

There are many reasons why this news is so rad:

1. The third and fourth hand nature of the rumor
2. Why is the roommate talking to strangers about this sort of stuff?
3. Other than a blatant cry for attention, how would it possibly come out in conversation at the game that you are Jimmers girlfriends roommate?
4. The stated reason is completely believable
5. Jimmer wasn't an RM when they started dating, so why is it a problem now?

Anyway, just thought everyone should know the latest totally unconfirmed and possibly completely untrue rumors in Jimmerland.

Tonight on channel 5s sports show (not sure what it is called) they did a preview of tomorrow nights in depth interview with Jimmer on a variety of topics.

Tonight they spent a few minutes focusing solely on his relationship with his girlfriend. He was asked directly if he was going to get married and he laughed and stated pretty emphatically that he isn't ready for marriage but maybe someday. Right now his focus is on the season.

They showed footage of the two of them and Jimmer said that she often tells him that he isn't as cool as he thinks he is.

They also showed Jimmer walking around with a weird striped sweatshirt of some sort. It looked like something made by Gotcha! in the 1980s.

Aren’t conference road games supposed to be hostile atmospheres? Most often, it’s not the case for Fredette. BYU, a Mormon institution and one of college athletics’ only truly national universities, has fans everywhere, but they out-numbered and out-cheered TCU’s fans on Saturday as the Cougars improved to a program-best 25-2.

I think a 2nd round loss in either tourney wouldn't be shocking, but mostly I think he's tired and teams are selling out to stop him. How much time Rose sits him will be a factor obviously. I think it will be close.

More impressive then Fredette's game though, is his kindness.

At the AAU Championship in Orlando, Moseman remembers how Fredette offered to watch his two young children so Moseman and his wife could enjoy an afternoon at Disney World alone.

"I told Al (Fredette's father) you didn't have to tell Jimmer to do that, and Al had no idea what I was talking about," says Moseman.

"Jimmer was always so polite."
