Steelblue, orangeute and I took our families to watch the kings/jazz game last night in Sac. Jimmer played fair in the limited time he was in. His only field goal was a very nifty little up and under move that we saw about 1000 times at the Marriott center over the years. He padded his stats with those two free throws in garbage time at the end of the game when the jazz were in desperation foul mode.

His assist was also a pretty sweet play as he found himself double-teamed on the baseline but someone found a teammate slashing along the baseline for an easy two.

He didn't help his cause at all by committing a TO within about 4 seconds of entering the game which led to an easy fast break bucket.

Even still it was a lot of fun to go to the game. All of the kids (and adults) in our group had a blast and went nuts whenever Jimmer set foot on the court.

The arena announcer still knows who the money man is on the team, as he really whoops it up every time he says Fredette's name.

yeah. It was the worst shooting performance I have ever seen from a professional team. Pathetic. So many of the shots were uncontested wide open looks. LDS church ball all-stars would have scored 20 last night and the Lakers would have won.

He made some highlight moves including a double team split with a fake pass that juked Mahimi out of his shoes finishing with a finger roll. Had a nice spin move and converted for an and 1. He had the ball to finish the 1st and 3rd quarters. He hit a 3 at the end of the first and then drove and that double team split I mentioned was at the end of the 3rd. The Kings got it to 3 with a chance to tie at the end. Smart put Jimmer in but he didn't touch the ball in two separate in bounds plays to tie. Kind of frustrating. I hate the Kings.

We still need shooters. I'd love him off the bench. He can facilitate just as well as Morris or Duhon IMO plus he's a much better scorer. The bigs below can hide his defensive deficiencies.
