    That was great, Commando.

That was an awesome video, just glorious. About half-way through, I realized that the half-court buzzer beater at the Utah game would be the finale of the video. The build up to it was pure joy.

That video reminded me of how many times Jimmer has made people (1) fall down from his cross-over and (2) stand in awe while he pulled up from the parking lot. His ability to feel the game and determine what he needs to do on offense next is amazing and is the reason I see us going very deep in the tournament. He can tell when the big moment is coming and knows how to make it happen.

Scorecasting has a great chapter on this. Essentially, if you have a fixed salary cap to spend, it's much better to get a superstar and 4 role players than to split it evenly among five good players.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Jimmer through 29 games has surpassed Michael Smith's 29 game season in 1988-89. If Jimmer can score 36.5 ppg over the final two regular season games he will have reproduced what Devin Durant did in '83-'84 over 31 games. Jimmer has already surpassed Ainge's best year in '80-81 where Ainge scored 782 points in 32 games.

I wonder if Jimmer will light it up in revenge against UNM and on Senior day against Wyoming. I doubt it. The team is better with the others in the flow and Jimmer is all about team. Regardless, he will score the most points ever in a season by a BYU player.

Am I missing something? ER's response to KD's post seems to be a non sequiter. A good point, but I'm not sure how the fixed salary cap correlates to Jimmer breaking opponents ankles.

I'm just pointing out the importance of having a single dominant player over a team of 5 good ones.

Total sequitur (which you misspelled, jerk).

Commando, my only recommendation on the video is that many of your still shots are way too short. They flash by too quickly. You need to give the viewer another second or two to see each one. I would suggest making room for them by cutting some of them out and maybe cutting a video clip or two.

Commando, you need to submit that video...somewhere. Dang cool.

Yeah I thought about that a little, but then powered through my original vision, which was to make it a bit of a trip with the subliminal flashes a la Exorcist and keep the pacing frantic. I'm thinking about doing a team highlight vid... I'll take that under advisement.
