    78 to pass Smith
    44 to pass Durrant

Here's to hoping he goes 40, 40 and passes Smith and Durrant against Colorado State.

I've heard rumor there are other threads on this board that are discussing this song. Excuse me, her video literally fits the title of this thread. Mods, can you please remedy this error?

I was actually impressed with the video. If I was single guy in Provo I would look her up. She is a quirky kind of cute, nice voice, obviously has a good sense of humor, and extra bonus points for any girl who plays the acoustic guitar and doesn't look or act like Joan Baez or Sheryl Crow.

Yeah, but did you see her hand? Deal breaker.

                  • Scouting the top NBA prospects:

Jimmer Fredette, 6-2 senior guard, BYU
There are a lot more believers in him than when the season started. I think he has converted a lot of naysayers. He can score and he's fearless. He's not Steve Kerr, because Kerr was a catch-and-shoot guy. Fredette is more like Mark Price. He may not be as quick as Price, but he's a lot stronger, and Price couldn't shoot where this kid shoots from at this stage. He doesn't have to be a real good defender, but I don't know why with his competitiveness and knowledge he can't hold his own defensively. People knocked J.J. Redick's defense, too, but he's playing for a very good team and contributing.

After talking to him for 8 or 10 minutes at first you think I am not sure if he is going to make it in the NBA, then a few minutes later you are like this guy will for sure get drafted, then yeah he is a for sure first round pick, eventually I start thinking this guy is an NBA starter and legit player"

He is playing quotes from JRIB right now.

Jimmer kills his interviews. It's not just that he's the most talented scorer in the NCAA right now. He's a great story. He's got the older brother, rapper, mentor. He's got Jesus through Mormonism. He was the unheralded recruit. He brings a streetball game to Provo. He's a killer. He's got the Kobe Black Mamba in him. He doesn't want to just beat you. He wants you to remember that an undersized white-boy named Jimmer just tore your ass up. He wants the big shot. I will stop now because I am starting to hyperventilate.

And that prison basketball story never seems to get old. I don't think they intended it to be such, but it was a brilliant marketing/PR move.

                            • BYUBMBR has just overtaken Kobe's Only Kings Have Rings shirt as the best selling t-shirt over at TheForestLab. 20% off your entire order if you use the code "BYU32".

Word on the street has it that the BYUBMBR is greater than the ONLY KINGS HAVE RINGS! Of course we’re talking about t-shirt sales. For the first time since we launched our online store last year the very popular Kobe inspired ONLY KINGS HAVE RINGS tee has been ousted as our best-selling t-shirt by non other than the new BYUBMBR tee. It’s incredible, really. With the amount of press out there about College Basketball right now and the hype that surrounds a certain team in Provo it’s no wonder that Kobe has (temporarily) taken a backseat to the BYUBMBR.

If you haven’t gotten yours yet head over to our online store now. Also, if you use promo code, “BYU32” you’ll save 20% off your entire purchase.

That's a step that I think Jimmer is taking now as he's getting tired of getting the crap beat out of him every game and not getting the calls that he knows full well other guys would be getting if they were getting kneed and grabbed and hacked every time they tried to score.

When I was taking my wife to the SDSU game she was expressing nervousness that we might not win if Jimmer didn't have a great game. I told her there were no worries about Jimmer showing up on the big stage because he is the non-crazy Ron Artest. To him, it just basketball and he loves playing and competing, and so the big stage or national audience or a ton of attention doesn't get to him.

But seeing him want to dominate the CSU game with their sellout crowd and garbage defenses thrown at him, and then going after Willis, and then going at O'Brian and Utah...he's channeling the stone cold assassins now and not just the unaffected crazies. It's a beautiful thing to see those things rolled into one.

And TJ is a better talent than anything Artest has on his label.
