Worst Dodger bullpen in 25 years.Originally posted by Joe Public View PostThis Dodgers bullpen is reminding everyone who they are. What a mess.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I could almost agree with you if it meant that Cashman would finally be bounced, but I am sure he has some compromising photos of Hal to have run the Yankees into mediocrity for so long.Originally posted by USUC View PostGreat to see the Yankees lose game one. I'd love to have them gone this early. I don't care who wins it this year, as long as it isn't the Yankees.

I also noticed that the AL East of my youth has six of its seven teams (no Orioles - sorry, SMR!) playing in the postseason this year. I’m old enough that I still think of the Brewers as an AL team and the Astros as an NL team.

Rooting for the Mariners this year, unless Boston surges then I'll be conflicted. I've seen about 3 games and a couple of Raleigh HRs. He is a great story this year and should get the MVP.
I loved seeing the Red Sox pull a Yankees and get a previous player in their prime. When Chapman (whom I also conflicted about but is a great relief pitcher) loaded the bases with no outs yesterday, I thought that was it. But then he just started pitching amazingly. Great starting pitching by both teams, but Cachet was lights out.
If the Dodgers can hit like they did yesterday their relief pitching may not be an issue. Which means it probably will be. But it was fun watching HRs rain down. I didn't know that Francona was the Reds manager. Would love to see him do well, but I doubt that's in the cards this year."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. 3 game wild card series are all played at the higher seed’s park? Has that always been a thing?"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Doesn't help the Sox thoughOriginally posted by Bo Diddley View Post
Yes since the format was changed. Seems like a good balance between adding more teams and rewarding regular season results.
