So Bosh is going to join Wade in Miami. James going back to Cleveland would not be a move forward. He's been there and done that. Does he join Bosh and Wade or got to NY (with Stoudemire) or Chicago (with possibly Boozer)? Or the Nets (yikes)?

Well, ESPN has got to create interest in their 1 hour Bron Bron special. I'll be surprised if he leaves money on the table and goes with Miami. It will be interesting if Bron Bron decides to go elsewhere. If he leaves Cleveland he will have destroyed his hometown franchise by insisting on ridiculous trades based on his threat that he will leave.

I still think he stays in Cleveland. He makes more money and he is able to be a player/GM in Cleveland.

If LBJ's people set up an HOUR LONG show and then have a leak that is pretty pathetic. If someone from the Heat leaks it, they may be in jeopardy of him changing his mind before his TV show tomorrow night. I get the feeling he wouldn't want his surprise spoiled and might change his mind at the last minute if his big "moment" is ruined.

I just can't imagine all of these charades and LBJ leaving Cleveland. He has to stay at this point or he will quickly become a huge villain to his home town and I don't think he has the personality to embrace becoming the villain (like Kobe).

He shoulders a lot of blame for their salary cap situation. All the moves made were Bron Bron approved or initiated.

If you are a GM and you are making personnel decisions based on the desires of a 20-25 year old player, you have no one to blame bu yourself. You certainly ask your superstar if he is ok with the deal, but ultimately you are responsible for it. I don't think it's fair to blame LBJ in those instances.

I think that if an organization continually caves to the whims of one player, they deserve what results occur. It is one thing to consult with your star player, it is another to have them dictate personnel moves. management has to look at the current and future health/viability of the team, whereas, a player rarely has any perspective beyond the current year.

Look at all of the personnel moves the Spurs or Lakers have or have not made that were not popular with their star players(remember Bynum for Kidd?), but ultimately were done because they were in the best interest of the long term success of the franchise.

I agree that the GM that was dumb enough and the organization dumb enough to cave into the whims of a 20-25 year old player is getting what they deserve. However, Bron Bron never takes any criticism for anything in Cleveland. It is always Bron Bron has nothing on his team and a loss is never his responsibility. Well, Bron Bron is the one who largely put together this team that cannot win. He wanted Shaq and they got him Shaq. He wanted Jamison and they got him Jamison. He shouldn't be completely absolved of all responsibility for the Cavs failure to win a title.
