Unless LeBron is a moron, he probably wouldn't be too thrilled about playing with Amare. Amare is overrated until the playoffs come and then everyone realizes how much ass he sucks. Amare and Joe Johnson are fools gold.

But Bosh is a different story.

I think the Russian Billionaire is smart money. If he can't land one of the big three, then he'll wait for Carmelo and/or Paul/Williams. He'll let the Knicks settle for Amare and/or Joe Johnson.

FTR, I think Bosh is going to end up with either Wade or LeBron. I don't see all three ending up in Miami (could they fit under a salary cap?). I think Dallas is going to play a more significant role than people think because they have the bargaining chips for a sign and trade and I think Cuban is going to land one of the big three. I wonder how Nowitzki and LeBron would play together? Wade also makes sense in Dallas. I don't see Dallas ending up with two of the big three however.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

      I voted Cleveland.

Both Bosh and Wade know that they don't really have to wait and see where he goes. The truth is, if he doesn't go with one of them (or Joe Johnson & the rest) then he has to deal with trying to face them in the East.

So I'll say he stays in Cleveland OR is delt in a sign and trade with...Houston. I've read places that Houston is really working hard to pull a sign and trade for one of the big 3. Dallas is a sign and trade option as well.

NYK will sign Amare and Joe Johnson

Wade, Bosh, and Lee to Miami (after Beasly delt)

      C-Booz to Chicago

Washington trades Arenas to Orlando for Vince Carter.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I think they'll make a run at some other guys, but if they don't get one of the big three, I can see them taking Boozer and maybe one other person and holding out for Melo next year or something if they don't land Bosh, Wade, or Lebron.

yeah Miami has a lot going for it. No state income tax. They can actually get paid less and effectively make the same. Good weather. Good night life. Good celebrity factor. Miami is the only real competition to Chicago IMHO and is likely a better fit for the above reasons.

Some interesting scenarios presented by Ford in his chat today, one of them being Dirk opting out and him being the 2nd guy that goes to Chicago with LeBron, and not Bosh. He says he thinks Dirk is the 2nd best fit next to LBJ after Bosh, but I don't know if I see it that way. Over the long term Bosh is certainly the better fit because of how much younger he is, but for the next 3-4 years I think Dirk might fit better on a team with James/Noah/Rose.

Another interesting one was Pierce opting out and going to NJ with Wade if LeBron and Bosh end up being paired.

Fun? What's going to be fun about watching Wade stay in Miami and Bron staying in Cleveland? Dirk isn't going anywhere. Neither is Pierce. Bosh will end up somewhere. At this point I am guessing New Jersey. I can see Ray Allen taking an MLE with Cleveland or something like that. Johnson and Amare will end up elsewhere. Johnson will probably go to New Jersey also. I think all of this talk and hype is just going to be a big letdown when all is said and done.

But I really do not see him staying in Cleveland.. And neither does Cleveland.

Methinks this is what you are hoping for as a Laker fan...

It has nothing do with me as being a Lakers fan. All of these schemes of Bosh, Wade, and Bron are far fetched. Even if it were to happen (I think Miami is the only team that could do it and they'd have to dump Beasley for it to work) there would be nothing left to build a team around them. Those three guys with 9 other hacks does not equal a championship. The closest thing to a contending team would be if Chicago could land Bron and Bosh. We'll see though.

Which is where I see him going.. He knows he can't win in Cleveland. They just don't have it there.. The team they built was a bunch of 6th men surrounding him and they cannot go out and get a #2 guy like Chicago has and can get with adding Bosh and LeBron..

If he signs with teh Cavs I would be stunned.. And C-Town will immortalize him..
