I'm sticking with New Jersey. I don't know how the Nets drafting Favors affects how guys like Bosh and Amare look at that team, but I think playing next to B. Lopez would have to be as appealing to James (or Wade) as playing with Bosh or Amare would be. Lopez can actually guard in the post without needing any help and he's got a mature low block post game on the offensive end that is more likely to force double-team help away from James. In my mind, Lopez + Devin Harris is a better combo next to LeBron than Rose + Noah...more important to have the all-star center than the all-star PG.

The Bulls will still have to move Deng if they want to max free agents; not a big deal, he'll just go in a sign-and-trade. But with Hinrich moved already, that would leave only James Johnson and Taj Gibson on the Bulls roster. New Jersey would have the PG/C combo, plus Derrick Favors, Terrence Williams, Courtney Lee, and Yi Jianlian. Add in Lebron + a free agent big (or big acquired via trade using NJ's cap space), then ink Ray Allen using the salary exception, and that team would be loaded for years.

Billionaire owner, Jay-Z link, new stadium, new team generating all of the buzz in Brooklyn while Knicks make splash with Joe Johnson and David Lee, and a really good supporting cast...NJ it is.

Cavs can offer him the most money, he will stay with the Cavs unless he can strong arm them into doing a sign and trade. This is the NBA, it is extremely rare that players take less money to play elsewhere. Sure Bron Bron will talk about wanting to win being his top priority, but he is full of @#!*% .

And there is no reason Cleveland won't do it. It'd be stupid of them not to. Even if all they get in return is a huge trade exception and 2nd round picks, you at least make that trade so you are getting something. Say James goes to a team like New Jersey, Cleveland could get a package like Yi Jianlian, a $12 M trade exception, and a few 2nd round picks...gotta sign up for that. At the trade deadline, that trade exception could bring back some significant upgrades for that team.

In their less-than-expert opinions the guys on local radio thought Korver could find a home there with the midlevel and break his new record for 3-pt % in a season, finding himself open more often than not. Their guess was around 60%. Might not be too far off. He wouldn't get to shoot much but when he did you can bet it would come off unbelievable penetration and kick.

I don't think someone like Korver would get the midlevel from a team like that, but he'd be a great piece for them. And he'd likely be used appropriately by whatever coach had that roster: small spurts to generate offense, see if his shot is hot, milk it, and then get his butt back on the bench so all of his other liabilities don't hurt your team.

He is not going anywhere without another big signing coming with him. Harris and Lopez are not enough. He pretty much already had that in CLE this year.

If they can get Bosh to NJ it is possible but the same goes for pretty much any team. I still maintain that Bron is not signing anywhere alone.
