Two hundred Phoenix Suns fans who go to BYU are at the game, all wearing orange shirts. Interesting.

24 pts. I'm no rocket scientist but that extrapolates into...wait for it...48 pts for a game."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

I've seen several half of Jazz basketball that bad already this season. They just happened to be first halves instead of second halves. Bottom line, this team is not very deep when healthy. Take away a couple starters and you're not going to win many games. This is all a part of the master plan to miss the playoffs and have a shot at drafting Jimmer.Originally posted by Sizzle View PostA 27 point second half. cj was terrible. deron committed some awful turnovers, and apparently all of our sets devolve into a cj three or a deron iso. i really hate this team. if i would have been at the game, i would have been cheering for steve nash to make it rain.Te Occidere Possunt Sed Te Edere Non Possunt Nefas Est.

Their season low for points in a quarter is 13, set tonight in the 3rd period. They follow that up by putting up EIGHT in the 4th quarter until CJ and Deron make meaningless threes to give them a total of 14 points. If they have their two lowest scoring quarters (lowest and tied for the lowest) of the season in the same half, how can that not be the worst half of basketball the Jazz have played this year?Originally posted by Donuthole View PostI've seen several half of Jazz basketball that bad already this season. Worst scoring half, sure. If was not their worst defensive half, however. If you want to split hairs, we can split hairs. My point is that the Jazz have looked pretty shitty in a lot of games this year, and the fact that they looked that way in Corbin's first game isn't really much of an indictment on Corbin. So when you say 'not a good sign,' i agree, assuming you mean 'this team is not very good, and they have a lot of pieces to fill before that changes.' I disagree if you mean that Corbin's presence had anything to do with the loss tonight or this game was indicative of his future coaching in any way.Originally posted by Sizzle View PostTheir season low for points in a quarter is 13, set tonight in the 3rd period.
