Miami has nothing of interest. Ugh.Just filed to ESPN.com with @chadfordinsider: Utah and Miami have opened discussions on a possible Carlos Boozer deal before 3 PM deadlineSo Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

They let a trade exception expire? lolChad Ford says it's not going to happen. Pat Riley was stupid. He let a trade exception expire a few days ago that they could have used to absorb the salary of CJ Miles in a separate deal to the Haslem and Fodder/Boozer deal.So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Will be interesting to see.# Move would make a lot of sense in that the Jazz ease luxury-tax burden and ease logjam of wing players. 2 minutes ago from web
# We're getting reports from people traveling with the Jazz as well as reports from the Memphis end that it's the Grizzlies. 3 minutes ago from web
# Word that Ronnie Brewer might have gotten traded. Again, trying to get confirmation. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Read more: http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_ar...#ixzz0fvBaOg6mRonnie Brewer may have been dealt by Utah to the Grizzlies in exchange for a protected first round pick, according to a report from Ross Siller of the Salt Lake Tribune.
Utah would move under the luxury tax under such a scenario. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Would make sense for the Jazz to have moved Brew. He's been entrenched in the starting lineup despite some of the worst and most inconsistent play of his career - and guys like Matthews and Korver playing well - as if the Jazz have been trying to showcase him.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostWill be interesting to see.I'm like LeBron James.

Interesting.# More O'Connor: "We had three or four players that were competing for minutes and we were able to turn that into a future asset." 4 minutes ago from web
# KO'Connor: “I think the biggest thing that we felt was that - - I won’t call it a logjam - - but that we had a lot of players very similar." 5 minutes ago from web
# Boozer-to-Miami talks were greatly exaggerated, at least according to the Jazz. 7 minutes ago from web
# Jazz will have to sign a 13th player to meet league roster minimum. 7 minutes ago from web
# Jazz free up minutes for Matthews, Miles and Korver. Deal came together 5 minutes before deadline. 8 minutes ago from web

This is probably a good trade, but the devils advocate in me says the Jazz just traded a starter on a team that has won 15 of 17 and is 3rd place in the conference and got nothing (for this season) in return. On the surface it would appear they are not trying to get better this year. Rather perhaps risking getting worse in favor of saving money and getting better in the future.I'm like LeBron James.

In light of the Maynor trade, they really aren't concerned with getting better in the future, either.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
