I wish the Jazz could play the Pistons 82 times each season.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostNice grind it out win.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I love Memo, but I really wouldn't mind seeing the Jazz without him right now.Originally posted by scottie View PostI'm sure someone has mentioned this already in this thread, but the Jazz are better without Memo right?
Platoon Fes and Kosta at the 5, pair a shooter (Matthews, Korver, CJ) with an athletic wing/slasher (AK, Brew) at all times. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I knew Eaton was a good shot blocker, but wow, I had no idea he was doing stuff like that.Eaton led the NBA in average blocks per game for four of five seasons from 1983-88.
He also holds the Jazz blocks record in almost every statistical category imaginable, from his league-record 5.56 per game in 1984-85 to best individual games (he has the first seven and 11 of Utah's top 12, including two with 14) to most in a season (an NBA-high 456 in '84-85) to career average (a league-best 3.51) to even most in a half (nine). So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Looks like I was wrong.Originally posted by JohnnyLingo View PostDeron has built up a lot of goodwill with Jazz fans.
He was the only one who showed up against the Lakers in the 2007 WCF.
He's averaged close to 20 and 10 the last three seasons.
He has hit a lot of clutch, game-winning shots over his career.
He plays hard and doesn't whine about wanting a trade.
It's not that he can do absolutely no wrong, but it will take a lot for Jazz fans to ever turn on him.
"Is there a more overrated player in the league right now than Deron Williams?"
