I was just told & confirmed it with a 2nd source #Jazz still unwilling to include picks from future drafts wld move talent instead.

It will be interested to see if anything Monty has been saying ends up being confirmed through actual action today. Since he's new to the market, I wonder what contacts he might have in other NBA markets that are feeding him info. Or if he's just making stuff up as he goes because no matter what happens you can always say you were right and things just changed.

I actually kind of like Monty and hope it isn't the later. I'd prefer not to replace Kevin Graham with another Kevin Graham.

Yahoo reporting Smart is in play for Jazz. MG called it.

Wojnarowski is usually pretty spot on, and he also doesn't tweet out a lot of speculative stuff. I wonder if he's hearing that from someone with the Jazz, or from other teams that have been gauging what other teams are going to be doing. After last year's draft it was really interesting to hear how KOC was able to predict pretty solidly what the draft board was going to look like based on talks with other teams, and how they knew where they needed to be to get Trey or Olynyk.

Everyone else is saying Gordon for Utah, then Woj comes out and says Smart.

Woj says "front office sources" say Gordon will almost assuredly go before Vonleh and Randle. Won't go top 2, doesn't seem like a fit for Philly or Orlando. So seems mixed with Woj saying he was hearing Jazz strongly considering Smart.

Out of spite, if Smart falls to Utah, I want them to pick him because he wouldn't come work out.
