Why this team plays basketball as poorly as they have against Houston and Sacramento is beyond me. They are just as likely to come out and lose this game by 20 as they are to win by 1."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

This just got more interesting. Durant got hammered and didn't get the call and just gave Burks a shove."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

As I said to douger, how do you know better alternatives are out there than just letting guys walks at the end of the season?Originally posted by Maximus View PostI have a bad feeling nothing will happen before trade deadline. Same old Jazz.
Also, this roster has exactly one player still on it from the 2010 season. Same old Jazz indeed. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

It was fun to see Carroll get Burks back on the Durant flagrant and then to watch Burks at the point in the last couple minutes constantly look for Murphy and pass to him at every opportunity. The Jazz bench is tough, athletic, energetic, young, fun to watch - sort of bizarro traditional Jazz.I'm like LeBron James.

The Brooklyn Nets are interested in trading for Utah Jazz power forward Paul Millsap, according to a report in the New York Daily News. The Nets also have been recently exploring trade opportunities for Josh Smith and Ben Gordon, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard. The Daily News also reported that the Nets could be interested in another power forward.
Sources told the Daily News the Nets offered Kris Humphries and MarShon Brooks for Smith, but the Atlanta Hawks want a better package for their 27-year-old power forward.
While Nets GM Billy King told reporters Monday that he "isn't going to make a trade just to make a trade," it is expected he'll certainly make plenty of calls given that he's in the final year of his contract and the team he assembled has lofty expectations.
Millsap, 28, is averaging 14.9 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game for the Jazz this season.
Deron Williams was a former teammate of Millsap's in Utah. Millsap certainly would give the Nets an upgrade at the four spot, while providing Williams with a solid pick-and-roll option on offense.
