I'm generally a fan of not taking a timeout right there, but if Harris is going to be a bonehead like that, I guess you have to take the TO.

No question in my mind that Favors is an All-Star every year if that mid-range is pretty automatic, he's putting work on it and improving it right now but still has a long ways to go to see if it will fall more often. The free throws made were promising.Originally posted by BGRTHNUMEGO View PostWhat do they say in soccer? World class?
That sequence from Hayward was world class.
I think I saw 13 rebounds in 19 minutes for Kanter. I agree with MG that Kanter's shot looks good, and Favors has really put in work on his midrange J. Those two are going to be a nice pairing.

As good as it was and considering the circumstances, I couldn't decide if that was more impressive or if Favors three point play was the play of the game. BTW, on the Favors play, that was a brilliant play call for that situation - with 32 seconds, they new they had a get a basket before the 24 second mark, hopefully with some time to spare, and they got that basket in about 4 seconds and Biedrins provided some nice assistance.Originally posted by BGRTHNUMEGO View PostWhat do they say in soccer? I'm really liking the chemistry between all of the Future Four. They seem to play well together, to enjoy playing with each other, they like to see one another do well, etc. It's interesting when one of the veterans misses a game and a youngster gets extended minutes because of it, the future always looks bright and it doesn't hinder the success of the team at all.I think I saw 13 rebounds in 19 minutes for Kanter. Kanter still has a reb% over 20 (20.1). The only qualified players with a higher reb% are Dwight Howard and DeMarcus Cousins. Kevin Love is at 19.0.
After the last two games of monster glass games, Favors is tied with Jefferson and Millsap at 16.5. I'd like to see what his rate is when in a line-up with Kanter v. a lineup with Al or Millsap. Of the 5 man units that Favors has played the most minutes with, the top 3 have him on the court with the rebounding Turk. Almost half of Favors' minutes have been played next to Kanter.

Leading the league in second chance points means our guards can't shoot but the youngsters can flat out clean the glass, that's for sure. I love it but I'd trade 2-3 rebounds for each for a making guard.Originally posted by BGRTHNUMEGO View PostKanter still has a reb% over 20 (20.1). The last few weeks Favors has looked like he's almost ready to be a starter. He's fine coming off the bench the rest of the year (though I'd still like his minutes to increase), but next year he needs to move into a starting role. I think Kanter ends up on a similar path, spending next year as a bench player again before moving into a starting spot in year three. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

The more I watch Barnes, the less I'm impressed. Everything he does looks good, but the results just aren't there. Sweet stroke, but an inconsistent shooter. Nice moves off the dribble, but has trouble finishing. Not a good passer or rebounder. The fact that he was the top high school prospect and is one of the top scorers for one of the nations best teams will mask those things and make him a fairly high lottery selection, but he looks like a mid-first rounder, at best, to me.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostBarnes has a good looking stroke.I'm like LeBron James.
