I will say this, it's fun watching Burks, Kanter, Hayward, And Favors on the floor at the same time.
I don't think it's smart but it's fun.
It is but unfortunately against an experienced team that inexplicably wouldn't give their best player the ball down the stretch, they looked their age. Upside is encouraging though yeah.

Touting his wisdom in a thread where he mentions that he thinks Joey Dorsey is going to be a solid NBA player. For those wondering if this is the same Joey Dorsey that played a whopping 61 NBA games in four years (and a grand total over barely over 600 minutes!) before finding his way out of the NBA, yes, it's that one.
All your forgot was the SWISH! at the end of your post this time.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
At this point, 2nd round draft pick. Not many teams will want him to take up cap space next year. Stein mentioned LA and they don't have cap space anyway, but he's not a sure thing to help them much, so it doesn't make a lot of sense. Unless he picks up his play, it's going to be tough.
John Hollinger last night:
"I wasn't aware Devin Harris was still on the Mavs payroll."
Oden > Beasley > Durrant > Rose
That's how I'd rank them..
Sadly, BGR was just as bad:
I'd pick Oden over Rose, Beasley over Durrant
But a gem from the hacktastic MarkGrace in the same thread
ha...and I'd be inclined to put Oden at the bottom
MPFunk was also bad on this one, but he was biased because, according to him, every single NBA GM would have picked Oden over Durant:
This how I would rank the four players
1) Oden (yes I may be a homer)
2) Rose
3) Beasley
4) Durrant
Sadly, I didn't participate in that thread, and can't reveal my secret CB identity. Of course, I would have drafted Durant over Oden, though I think I'm on record of preferring Beasley to Rose.
BGR almost redeems himself here, while Hater digs deeper:
Who was that guy drafted after Sam Boden?
Oh yeah, he's the guy scoring nearly 26 ppg, averaging 6.5 rpg and 2.8 apg, while hitting 43% of his 3's and 86% of his FT's. And he's about 6 months younger than even Boden's listed age, not even 21 years old. And he's starting to flourish in the league even though he still has the body of a 14 year old girl.
Oden looks more and more like Bowie as time goes by.
I just Disagree that Durant is the Man
and Oden was a wasted pick. Durant is on the fast track to TMac status unless he shows me that he is a team leader and can be THE man.
All this goes to show that drafts are hard to get right. And early rookie performance can be almost as bad.
