Why would you not defend for at least a few seconds?

We've left 16 points at the FT line.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Lakers are easier for the Jazz to beat than the T-Wolves. Speaks volumes.

Flynn gets to the hoop no problem on their last possession. LOL. What a joke.

Jazz know how to defend pick and roll as well as an average middle school team. I hope the Jazz don't have to play Minny in the first round or we will get swept.

Shit. Half of the Wolves wins are against the Jazz. That is so unbelievably pathetic.

What was that last play? Three full seconds left and Deron jacks up a shot from two feet beyond the 3-point line? Really?

I didn't watch the game because I was at a meeting.

I take it the Jazz were not wearing the kelly greens tonight?

Well, with this team a win on the road is a win on the road, even if it's against the Nets.

Strange to see so many guys get minutes.

Strange will turn to maddening as Jerry tries to find minutes and Jazz fans everywhere begin clamoring for more rookie minutes. Winning can cure a lot of ills but if selfishness once again creeps into the locker room it won't matter. As a fan I like the fact that you can feel comfortable with 12 guys playing minutes on this team but will they is the bigger question.

I was disappointed to learn (via sportscenter highlights) that Deron was playing with 3 mins to go in the 4th q and an 18 point lead.

Did anyone catch Charles Barkley on Iniside the NBA after the Spurs game last week when he talked about Boozer? His point was that the Jazz are dead men walking this year because nobody on the team was going to run through the wall to win with Boozer on the team, knowing he isn't back next year. Kenny agreed with that, EJ though it would matter more if it were a coach instead of a player and Weber shrugged a lot.

It is an interesting thought, Boozer is clearly playing for a contract now but what happens when the playoffs start? Does he still feel like he needs to play for it? Does he pack it up and start to dream of buying Antoine Walker's house from the bank in Chicago, or the house they filmed Hogan Knows Best at in Miami?

I have long been a Boozer backer. I like his offensive game, I think he is one of the best with both hands at the basket I have ever seen. I will be sad when he leaves for what I think might have been with he and DW, but he has to go.

Charles was spot on with his assessment. I'll be sorry to see his offense go and really don't care that he's "getting his" for selfish reasons but I will say it has the added benefit of increasing his trade value. That is if O'Connor does the only logical thing and trades him before the deadline, playoffs be damned. The future of the Jazz and especially Williams tenure in Utah is at stake here.
