While I haven't cared much for the NBA in several years, the Jazz have always been my favorite team. Sloan's been the coach as long as I can remember, and I fear that it'll be hard to find another coach that can succeed in Utah. I fear that this may be the beginning of a long stretch of mediocrity for the Jazz.

I hope Tyrone is the new coach. I don't know about his basketball IQ but anyone who would tell a normal fan like me that they wanted to take them to a strip club to celebrate a playoff win is ok in my book."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

I'll have to ask Corbin's two girls that he pretends don't exist what they think about their "dad's" promotion.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostI hope Tyrone is the new coach. So DWill has forced a coaching change. Has he entered the full blown diva stage or can he still be saved?
Also, pressures on DW. You better win a ring before you leave in a couple years.Get confident, stupid

If it turns out that DWill was the reason for Sloan leaving, AND DWill ends up leaving Utah, I can promise that the reception that Fisher and Boozer received in their return visits to Utah will be warm in comparison to the one DWill will receive on his.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostSo DWill has forced a coaching change. I just don't know how to feel about this. Part of me has always loved Sloan, and part of me has thought he's been past his expiration date for a while.
Was he forced out? I guess that's what would bug me most about this. LHM consistently said that he'd earned the right to go out on his own terms, and he certainly had. But what went down with KOC last night? Perhaps he wasn't forced out, just took exception to whatever Kevin said last night and said f$#% you I'm done.So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I don't know, I think Jimmer has CBA talent.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostI don't think the current CBA allows for player/coaches anymore."In conclusion, let me give a shout-out to dirty sex. What a great thing it is" - Northwestcoug

So what does that say about where he thinks things are going with the franchise? He has undoubtedly had arguments with ownership/front office people before. Now he sees where the ship is headed and says F you, I'm done.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostPerhaps he wasn't forced out, just took exception to whatever Kevin said last night and said f$#% you I'm done.Get confident, stupid

I have no idea. The guy signed an extension two freakin' days ago. Now this? No clue what happened in two days time.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostSo what does that say about where he thinks things are going with the franchise? A few things I know:
Darren is a cancer
This is a punk way to go out. Unless Sloan was forced out, what a quitter. Mid-season? Goes against everything he allegedly asked of his team.
Sloan has been a great coach and his expiration date was nearing anyway. It was going to be a surprise regardless of when it happened.
Darren is cancer.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Utah just became another Milwaukee, Indiana, Memphis, Charlotte, Cleveland, Sacramento and Minnesota. Not able to attract good players and missing the playoffs year after year.Originally posted by woot View PostWhile I haven't cared much for the NBA in several years, the Jazz have always been my favorite team.
