This is ugly. Good riddance to Boozer -- he has sucked tonight.
Jazz fans who boo Fisher and chant "Fisher Sucks" are classless idiots. I'm glad they're getting called out by the media. The guy's daughter had eye cancer for goodness sake, it was years ago, and he wasn't that good for Utah anyway.

On the bright side, Jazz fans can hope that Sloan finally retires this summer or the Jazz draft a PG who isn't afraid to beat Fisher off the dribble.

Agreed. If there is anything the jazz need it's a PG. The dude they have now is absolutely worthless.Originally posted by SloanHater View PostOn the bright side, Jazz fans can hope that Sloan finally retires this summer or the Jazz draft a PG who isn't afraid to beat Fisher off the dribble.

Have you watched this series at all? What good is beating a guy off the dribble if you run into 3 7 footers in the paint?Originally posted by SloanHater View PostOn the bright side, Jazz fans can hope that Sloan finally retires this summer or the Jazz draft a PG who isn't afraid to beat Fisher off the dribble.
Comparing Williams' situation to Westbrook's is absolutely silly...

Are you serious? You obviously don't understand basketball. 7 footers can't play if they're in foul trouble. I'd trade D Will for Wade or CP3 in a heartbeat.Originally posted by whoneedscorners? Yeah! What a pussy, he should just shoot over 7' 1" bynum and 7' pau gasol! The fact that he has provided the most clutch shots in both series doesn't matter!Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostGood riddance to Boozer -- he has sucked tonight.
Yeah! My son has irritable bowel syndrome, so anybody that makes fun of me is automatically a classless idiot, despite the fact that I can be a smug, classless chode myself.Originally posted by CardiacCougJazz fans who boo Fisher and chant "Fisher Sucks" are classless idiots. My hatred of Sloan has nothing to do with D Will's unwillingness to drive and take a hard foul.Originally posted by Jarid in Cedar View PostHate tends to cloud judgement.
[Edit] Obviously I'm the only one who watched the OK City/ Lakers series and saw Westbrook abuse Fisher and the vaunted 7 footers.

I recall 3-4 times in the 4th quarter of game 1 where he drove at the big guys, drew contact and didn't get the call. That is the biggest trouble for small guys in the lane, if they don't get clobbered they don't get the calls. The one that I specifically recall, he drove in on bynum took hard contact without a call, fisher took the loose ball, and miles drew that iffy charge on the other end.Originally posted by SloanHater View PostMy hatred of Sloan has nothing to do with D Will's unwillingness to drive and take a hard foul."The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."

I think there are fair arguments about why each are better than d.will, but I'd be really hesitant to lump cp3 into the tier of players wade is in.I don't think the comparison between him and d.will is even close to as difficult to settle as the cp3 debate.Originally posted by SloanHater View PostAre you serious? ? So because you don't get calls on the road, you should stop being aggressive? D Will gave up before the game even started. On the bright side, he is getting better and his drive-jump pass.Originally posted by Jarid in Cedar View PostI recall 3-4 times in the 4th quarter of game 1 where he drove at the big guys, drew contact and didn't get the call.
