That was one hell of a catch, almost as good as the one handed back hander Garcon caught earlier. Why McNabb gave him a shot at that ball on 4th and 20, 40+ yards down field with the game on the line when Fred Davis had no one near him about 10 yards down field is a mystery.

So the Shanahans have benched McNabb, who is healthy and ready to go, in favor of Rex Grossman. Minnesota, I present you with your new quarterback. This appears terribly stupid to me, but I guess they have made the decision that McNabb is gone and want to see whether Grossman is a capable back up. I predict we take a QB with our first pick next year.

He only gets 3 if they release him before September of 2011. His roster bonus doesn't have to be picked up until then...so the Skins can hold on to him until they get an offer they want. He should fire his agent for signing that deal.

I bet he does too, but I bet he does better than anyone expects him too. I kind of get the feeling that it's now or never for Beck and something tells me that he'll make the most of his opportunity, if it does come. Of course, that could just be dinner talking to me.

Right. The real issue is not the money, it's the two draft picks we gave up when we need those so badly.
