Football game sucked. But this is cool:

If you haven't done so yet, I highly recommend finding the full video for that race on Youtube and watching it. Everyone else was fading, but she just found a second gear in those last laps and turns on the jets. Remarkable to watch.

The crazy thing is that the second place runner was also from BYU and she ran sub-15 minutes, which has only been done a few times in history. Had Jane not obliterated the record, that would be getting more attention. This runner also came from way back with a big kick at the end.

Or maybe someone who has already found it would be kind enough to link it for us motivationally challenged folks.

          Haha. That is peak laziness!

That was incredible. She looked so strong the last half of that race.

Yes. Chamberlain probably ran a top ten all-time NCAA women’s 5000M. Wild to do that and not win the race. Imagine if Lexy Halladay had another year of eligibility.

Hedengren just set the indoor 3000 school record by 6 seconds and broke the NCAA all time record by a second-unfortunately she finished a second behind the Kenyan at Alabama who is now the all time NCAA Record Holder.

I found it enormously interesting that Hedengren, and Riley Chamberlin, both wore their BYU uniforms and clearly were representing BYU at the Sunday races at last weekend's Millrose Games. I understand that in the past there have been current BYU athletes good enough to compete at Professional/International events but they did so not wearing BYU uniforms but these two ladies were in full BYU kit. I found that really interesting. I know the greater LDS perspective on Sabbath observance customs have to change to accommodate a changing world-but when those changes are obviously manifested it comes across as a surprise to me. I think it will surprise me when team sports start competing on Sunday even though I believe it is coming.

And Jane grabs her first NCAA title: indoor 5000m with 15:00.12, setting a facility record by 14 seconds. Looking at the splits, she grabbed the lead by 600m and never let go. Her rival that beat her in the XC finals was 2nd by 3seconds.

NBC's Kara Goucher compares her to Usain Bolt.

                        Another unreal performance.
