An absolutely amazing finish, and that last three was sick. One would think it was luck, but he's dropped those many dozens of times. Let us give thanks. And I loved the shot of him with his wife and newborn, their fourth, whose arrival was timed so as not to interfere with the Olympics.
Very sloppy play from them all. I kept screaming to no one in particular (mrs. mbn was in the other room totally oblivious to the danger America was facing) that they needed to get the ball out of LeBron's hands and into Curry's hands. Thank goodness they listened to me.

I get that Lebron makes these showy plays, but I'm not impressed. He IS NOT the GOAT.
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

That the coolest thing ever. Earlier in the game I told my wife he is the best shooter in history. He is just on a different level.

That was a fun game. Hats off to France.

That was glorious. And she seems to be incredibly down to earth.

Yeah. She has an understated presence. An amazing cool, calm, collected demeanor. She strikes me as an athlete who has a strong inner confidence and knows her worth and let's anything exterior just flow right off of her. She is one of my favorite athletes of the games. Which is funny because so is Noah Lyles who has a slightly different demeanor. :-)

                    • I am sad that the olympics are over. I think this has been my favorite olympics of my lifetime. Paris is such a wonderful host city and the French crowds were great. It will be fun to have the games back in the USA in four years, but this is a tough act to follow.

I was thinking along similar lines. Paris is my favorite city and these games were amazing. I am still partial to 1984 as those were the first games that captured my heart as a young sports fan but the Paris games are the closest I've felt to that since.
