I think he is referring to Donut's lack of self-awareness.

He learned irony from Alanis Morissette.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Of course it takes a Utah fan to see it: BYU fan chides Utah fans for their perceived inability to go to great lengths to hype the performance of a Ute graduate in the NBA. I think Donuthole was self-aware and was actually speaking ironically - he's clever enough to have done that.

It just takes all the zip out of the irony when you have to explain it.

News Alert: Andre Miller pushes Blake Griffin.

In other news, UtahDan hears about Jeremy Lin and finds out about Rooney Mara's family.

I'm not an NBA fan so I thought Donut was being sarcastic because Andre had been the cause of the Lakers winning the series. The irony was that Andre was in a position to be a goat but Jimmer never will be. I didn't know Andre was actually a hero. So, I don't get the irony either.

This is a board that has a thread entitled "The Official Jimmerphilia Thread." 3,240 posts at the moment. DH was pointing out that Ute fans aren't good enough at hyping their former players who are now in the NBA, so BYU fans had to help us out. I thought it was a funny comment. I'd tell you to get off my lawn now but you're up on the front porch with me, so I can't.

So, it turns out that LA Ute doesn't know the meaning of the word, "ironic." That is really all I am getting out of this.
