  • last night Andre Miller moved to 11th on the NBA All Time Assists Leaders ...

if he stays healthy should be top 10 by the end of the year.

As ususal there is nothing in the local Salt Lake City News about this.

How did Jimmer do last night?

Miller has consistently been underrated his entire career. Congrats to Dre for continuing to move up the assist leaders list.

Just checked Miller's stats, he is shooting his best 3 point percentage of his career and has already taken more 3 pointers than all of last season. He also has his highest eFG% and TS% of his career this year.

He is in his 15th season and has been productive in every one of them. He is not a hall of fame or allstar type player but he is a very good player who has been consistently so for a long time. He has had the kind of career that Jimmer can aspire to.

I say to Andre Miller. That kind of career longevity is rare.
            Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

I recall Bogut donating 125K for the endowment of scholarship and to help with locker room renovation. I'm sure Jimmer did something similar.

Perhaps they should have. Failing to capitalize on Bogut and that teams run explains so much about the Giacoletti Era.

Something a little more appropriate would have been better. A nice little parade would have sufficed. Making DVDs titled "Amazing" for winning 2 tournament games seems a little over the top. They should have gone with something like "Pretty Good: The Story of the Most Incredible BYU Team That Ever Was or Ever Will Be" for the title.

still trails Miller by about 7,150 assists

but Jimmer has overtaken Miller in career DNP's

Oh, and congratulations to Andre. He's a great player, and as far as I know, I great person.

Says the fan of a team that throws parades for 2nd place.

Did the Patriots have a parade?

(By the way BYU has produced highlight DVDs for the past 7 or 8 seasons, for both football and basketball. Utah would do the same if they a) had any highlights and b) had a fan base that would buy them. For further evidence look where TopUtes book ranks on Amazons best seller list, not sure its cracked the top million yet.)
