The number of players Boylen inherited or recruited that have left the program is astronomical.

The problem the Utes will have next year is that they really don't have any go-to player to get them a score when they need it. Jiggy can do it sometimes and can be a disaster sometimes. OBrien has a chance to be that kind of player, but his shot has a long ways to go still. Glover, Kupets, Foster and Washburn will have their moments, but they are average role players offensively. I like the potential of Lee...I like the potential of Matthews. It will be interesting to see how these players improve over the summer because they have their work cut out for them.

As I have said, Boylen is the worst coach in our 100 year basketball history. It's not close. His teams lost, and he left a helluva mess. Archibald or Giacoletti left something to work with. History will prove me right. I'm just glad we have the Pac 12 cache to help us recover.

Not trying to take sides here or start a war, but there is a difference between having a better season and having a better team. What would you rather have? Both BYU and Arizona have nothing to apologize for.

I'm already troubled by Krystkowiak, and it's only the first week into his regime.

I heard the same things JIC heard about Clyburn, except I remain convinced that Clyburn would have stayed if:

Kryst had asked him to stay
Kryst had allowed him to redshirt

Read the article: vague rumblings about how Clyburn wanted to be closer to home but no specific school mentioned. He's only got one year of eligibility. Where's he gonna go? What was so wrong about letting Clyburn learn more about basketball, and get physically bigger? It would have benefitted Clyburn, it would have helped the team.

Last year Clyburn played for the team and in return they should have helped to develop him, and given him an education. Now he is leaving with neither.

When you rebuild a team, you look first to see if you can salvage what you've currently got. Jettisoning Clyburn, the best player on the team, is an indication of how Kryst really feels about the Utah team, and how much responsibility he feels toward these young men who played their hearts out for Utah, even with a their crappy coach.
