Carlino won't play at all because he's not yet eligible. The younger Collinsworth is on a mission, and I guess Chris is still rehabbing? I thought he might be playing.

Yeah that was a brain fart. I know KC is on a mission. I was rehashing a tweet that wondered what the team would look like without Carlino, the Collinsworths and Davies.

I wish I knew more about the competition.

Apparently the competition is not very good, because this team can't be. Not without Davies and a PG (hopefully Carlino). But that's a really impressive first outing for Harrison. I wonder how Winder looks at the point.

Looks like Good Chuck showed up today. I like Good Chuck and hope to see more of him throughout the season on a regular basis.

I wonder if Hartsock is still doing the hop-skip during player intros or if he has some new moves?

Also, it has been so long that I no longer remember. Can someone please update me on the non-sexual status of Davies? Has the HCO decided whether the kid can play this season? If not, when will we know? Did he travel with the team?

I thought the ruling was that he could re-enroll in the fall, but not before (sitting out the summer terms). So he's not yet eligible. Maybe that was never final? Anyway, he didn't make the trip with the team.

I was never clear if the "re-enroll" was a nod to his place on the team or simply to his status as a student. Was it ever explained via the media? If I recall correctly, there are still some questions about the timetable to be on the team again. Obviously, I care more about his ability to play than his ability to receive an education, which is why I ask.

If the 6-foot-9 Davies meets certain criteria and conditions, he would return to the school for the fall semester as a junior and have his eligibility reinstated.

He apparently withdrew from school after winter semester. He needs to be reinstated. Looks like he will be reinstated for the start of the fall semester if he's a good boy, goes to church, etc. At that time he'll be able to re-join the team. I'm betting that he doesn't miss a game.

ok, that clears it up a bit. I was misremembering the vague nature of "certain criteria and conditions." Looks like that is a condition precedent, not subsequent. Ergo, if he gets reinstated, his full blessings are restored to him.

As with Hartsock, I wonder if BD has also been working on some new moves for player intros?

BYU beat Doukas today. 115-45. I am beginning to think that this trip will tell us nothing about our team.

Sheesh, that must be the equivalent of a decent HS team. This Byu team is not very good.

when I say not very good, I'm talking about this particular group at this point in the season. No Davies, no Carlino, Harrison just out of HS, Sharp not having played much, etc.
