I agree. Franklin can do some things. Honestly, every team in the league has at least one decent player ... maybe not Wyo. I haven't watched them this year.Originally posted by Flystripper View PostDon't completely sleep on CSU. Travis Franklin is legit. CSU may play spoiler to the hoops dreams of top 5 seeds if the big dogs are not careful. The MWC is as good as it has ever been this season.

Wyoming is killing the average rpi of the conference. Outside of Wyoming, the rpis entering conference play are excellent. BYU, SDSU, UNLV, UNM and even CSU are well positioned at this point to have good post season prospects. Unfortunately, UNM dropped a couple key games at the end of the non-conference slate. They'll want that Dayton game back come February and March.

Reward the benchwarmers with a little more PT before their minutes shrink as the rotation tightens.Originally posted by Flystripper View PostA little scrimmage just prior to conference.

And I don't know when this game was put in the schedule, but it worked out nicely coming just two days after another east-coast road trip and as a tune-up for conference play."It's devastating, because we lost to a team that's not even in the Pac-12. To lose to Utah State is horrible." - John White IV

Heads up....there are still decent tickets (sideline chairs uppers) on BYU's website for the Utah game. I think I'm going to buy a block this morning just in case I don't come across something better. That game will be a fun one with lots of acrimony.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

I would love a win because UNLV is a good team but a loss won't make me irritated. That said, I always would prefer a win at the Huntsman Center over one at the T&M.Originally posted by Katy Lied View PostThat said, I would like Dave Rose to go 1-8 in the T&M with a victory tomorrow night. Go Rose! The first win is the hardest!

This year, that's a little like saying in football I'd rather have a win over Utah State than beat TCU. IOW, there's no way we lose to Utah.Originally posted by KillerDog View PostI would love a win because UNLV is a good team but a loss won't make me irritated.
