I have resigned myself to the fact Frank is going to pick Duke and would understand the choice. However, if I am wrong and Frank picks Utah, he is dead to me.

I admit, I will laugh if in 2017 Frank J ends up a one and done in the NCAA tournament like Jabari did, while BYU goes a few rounds. Maybe that will scare Coach Krewjewooski away from the Mormon kids.

I just don't get why you wouldn't want to play with all the guys you went to high school with and played AAU with. Yeah, Duke just won a title, but they were one and done the year before that. It's not like Duke makes an amzing, deep run every year.

Because it is Duke. I can't blame him for that, he has a chance to play for Coach K. Frank thinks he is a one and done kid anyways and he has a better shot to do that at Duke.

I can't blame the kid either. I wish we could get the best LDS athletes to come to BYU, but it just isn't going to happen.

It's like the opportunity to date some really hot gal or hang out with a sweet spirit. Kids at that age are pretty much going to choose the hottie.

I also don't buy the argument he will just be another player at Duke and could be a legend at BYU. Like Jabari, this kid is special. He is the best player to ever come out of the state of Utah. He has been killing it on the summer circuit against the best players in the country. He averaged 24 a game this summer on 40% from three. He has the quickest first step of any high school player in the nation. Sucks that BYU lost him, but he is the real deal. Which I have been saying since he was in 8th grade.

I get the sentiment, minus downplaying the allure of Duke. He and the LP All-Stars' undeniable chemistry could continue to beat up on the best players around the country. On another note- won't that be a bit bizarre to see all those LP guys hooping together with Quincy courtside? Not that I've ever been to an LP game, but that's kind of weird.
