  • I don't recall ever seeing an actual Scout evaluation for Frank Jackson yet. He is now listed as a 4 star and ranked 36th in the 2016 class. Awesome.

I hope we can hold on to him.

Is this a generalized concern or are there specific concerns given rumors of him wavering?
"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

BYU is an easy choice when the only competition is Utah.

When Arizona, UCLA, Stanford and others come calling, it makes it more difficult.

It sounds like a generalized concern. BYU needs to retain his commitment as BYU doesn't have the ability to replace somebody of his caliber with another.

              • I like that he's listed as weighing -. Perhaps he too will have big ears? (I haven't seen a photo of the young man yet).

                • I knew Frank's dad when he lived in D.C. Frank's mom is a Ute, if I recall correctly. I really should start proselytyzing the U to all the mormon youth I encounter on the East Coast. I could have bagged Mika and Frankie J.

I'm glad they're living in a better environment now.

So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

                      • TJ has the swagger I expect from a young man with his skill set. I think he has a better fire than his brother. Diablo Rojo should be his name.

                        • Keep an eye on Steven Beo. Tri-cities recruiting coordinator Art Vandelay has put the Cougs onto him. He was the breakout star of this year's state championship tourney after putting 29 on Todd Beamer in the semis and 22 and 11 boards against Garfield in the championship. 6'2"-3" sophomore with a ridiculous stroke and plays like a young Hornacek with the same kind of craft and array of hesitation moves and dribbles (the way he uses his behind-the-back dribble is especially Hornacekian). Watched him play both Friday and Saturday and he had all these inner city kids taking shots at him since he was the skinny white kid filling it up and he never once got rattled. UW and Boise offered yesterday.

                          • Mo kid? Otherwise why would Bishop V be interested.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Yeah Mo kid from Bishop V's neck of the woods. Started for Richland last year as a frosh and Bishop told Nashif he needed to get up here to watch him. Apparently Nashif came up to watch his AAU team last summer but the kid was out of town. But apparently they're very interested in the kid. Backcourt mate for Frank Jackson
