I like the concept, but the execution has been terrible. The ticket prices are too high for an exhibition game or a 2pm weekday game. The Cal Baptist standalone prices are reasonable, but it’s on a Wednesday and doesn’t have the opponent gravity of UNC or Wisconsin.
These games could have been a huge draw for an out-of-stater like me who doesn’t purchase season tickets. The Las Vegas game was packed with BYU fans. I was 11 rows from the floor at the Las Vegas game, got to see FLA/AZ in addition to the BYU game, and I paid less than I would pay for higher seats to the BYU/WISC game. If the CBU game were on a Saturday, I would be taking my family of six.
