Bummer. Wonder if this means anything. AJ seems like he needs the ball in his hands, so this makes sense.

Don't like losing an RM BYU guy.

      Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I'm not thrilled with this but if it means Egor is coming back I will take it!

I still think it is <10% chance Demin returns but you idiots here are giving me hope.

I'm not sad. He can't have performances like he did against Alabama and not be downgraded. At times he's stepped up but there are other times where he isn't playing as well as you expect. I'd gladly take this if it meant we could keep Crawford.

Would love to keep Crawford. Hall has had some iconic moments. Agree on the Alabama performance, but he had other excellent performances. Seemed like a good BYU-guy stable influence on the team.

With the NIL bag that BYU seems to have, I seriously doubt he would be leaving if KY wanted him to stay.

I like Hall, but he isn't that great of a PG.

I don't disagree with this. But he was adequate and did some pretty awesome things while here. Early on this season he was a great back up plan when Egor doing dumb things. I also don't like losing a "BYU" guy, which he is.

Look, if this portends better things to come (which your astute logic suggests), then I will live with it happily.

There are some hurt feelings. He had a legit NIL deal/opportunity last year away from BYU, and he was convinced to stay under the assumption that he was the starter.

I sort of don't get it, though, because whether he is on the court at tip-off or not, he got a lot of PT, and even handled the point when he was on the court with Demin.

He got tons of playing time.

I find this hard to believe. He knows how sports work.

I agree with this. I am in the camp who believes BYU needs a certain % of players to be "BYU" guys for the good of both the team and the program- I think Hall filled that role well. I know nothing but my guess is Dallin Hall was offered a very healthy NIL deal but what he wants is to be the undisputed starting PG. Good luck to him finding that spot-perhaps that spot does in fact end up being BYU in the end, but I can't blame either him for looking elsewhere or KY for not just handing it to Dallin. It would be nice if he was such a BYU guy that that being 2nd chair PG on what might be the greatest BYU basketball team in history was motivation enough but if it doesn't end up that way for him my guess is all parties will be OK.
