Are there any Ute hoop fans left?
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

This very well could be the beginning of the end for Jim Boylen at Utah. It is one thing to have failed recruits like Cyphers and Read transferring, it is another to have a talent like Brown transfer.

More than a few people saw this coming. If he wasn't going to play team ball, then the we'll be better off.

Brown had his shot to lead and failed badly. Hardly a talent.

I can't really blame Carlon Brown for not wanting to play team ball considering he didn't have players around him worth a damn on offense and we were not running an offensive system worth a damn.

I find it funny how we have to hear how he isn't a team player while he was 2nd on the team in assists.

This isn't good, but it isn't the worst thing, either.

It's all on Boylen next year. No excuses.

                  Hines is now gone.

I don't blame Hines in the slightest for leaving the program. We are fucked next year, we might not win 10 games.

                    So is Henderson next?
                    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Funny how you crapped on Marc Jackson. Try a little consistency.

I don't remember really crapping on Marc Jackson, but if I did there is one huge difference. Majerus had proved himself that if you do what the hell he says he will get the most out of you, the same cannot be said of Boylen. You keep comparing a hall of fame coach to a career assistant who has had a really rocky first 3 years as a head coach.

A real rocky 3 years that can quite easily be about the same as Rick's first four. You have no ability to be honest at all.

You still making that argument. Oh yes, the only thing that we should evaluate seasons on is conference finishes. If you just ignore the wins, tournament victories, conference championships, losing seasons, and top 25 finishes their first 3 years were exactly the same. This is as good as the argument that Michigan St is more interested in Boylen to replace Izzo than Crean.

While it's sort of fun to see the Utes falling apart, these guys weren't very good anyway, and there are 4 recruits coming in to replace the 6 going out, still leaving the Utes with 14 players. They weren't going to be any good next year anyway, and this shouldn't make them too much worse. Losing Brown hurts a bit, but whatever. There'll be even more PT available for the young players, giving the Utes a shot at a winning season in 2013 or so.
