I don't doubt that those schools you list don't want to give you a home and home. I can't think of a compelling argument why any of them would. But why doesn't Florida schedule other schools from the power conferences? It's because Florida refuses to travel outside the state. They'd never play a west coast team. And if you say it's because these teams don't want to travel to Florida, then that's delusional.

I am delusional, hell I am a Kentucky fan. But I know the difficulty of getting good teams in a home and home. If BYU were a power team I am confident that Florida would consider a home and home; however, BYU needs to win one or two NCAA games before we consider them a "POWER".

Even Utah is not a power in my book. They have had several great teams until they had to face Kentucky.

I was just glancing through all the brackets that got turned in here at work. BYU is a sexy pick in the hospital. Lots of folks have them beating KState and these are people that know nothing about BYU. Also sexy is Cornell to the sweet 16.

What about Lunardi taking BYU to the elite 8, Stewart Mandel taking them to the final four, Jay BIlas past K-state, etc. They seem to be the sexy pick overall this year, which I do not like.

Marques Johnson has BYU in his Final Four. But he also picked Cal for the FF as well. Ain't no way my two favorite teams are going to be in the FF; I'll be thrilled with the Final 32.

My pops and older brother were Stanfurd guys, and my rebellion began when I was six. Once my allegiance was fixed, Cal won the national title (St. Pete Newell) and went to the Rose Bowl. Sad that neither have occurred since.
