You are trying to appear fair-minded here, but I can see right through you.

You know full well that the reason it would be impossible to do as you ask above is because it is pretty much impossible to find people that are not BYU fans.

Why don't you try to at least pretend to not be a zoot.

Whatevs! FWIW, I showed the JT dunk to my 6-year old last night and he said to me: how come he didn't dunk it? I told him that he didn't know how to. I also know that CJ lost a lot of credibility in my eyes by saying that it was a sick dunk. Jiminy Christmas...I would hate to see what CJ thinks ward ball dunkers because their dunking trumps JT's every day of the week.

I disagree... the kid from Judge Daniel Dean the Utah player of the year along with Shawn Green. Bag on Green all you want but he has been a solid contributor and starter for 4+ years.

Got to agree. Penalty on cougjunkie for inappropriate use of the adjective 'sick' to describe a JT dunk that was, at best, pedestrian-with-emphasis.

Much as I hate to admit it, for the correct usage of the word 'sick' as it pertains to elevation and throwdown, look no further than our good neighbor to the north, Carlon 'Don't Call Me Marlon' Brown.

By that comparative standard, JT's dunk--while good and exciting and all--would have to be recharacterized as 'mildly ill' or 'sniffly.'

Woah! Slow down fellas. You guys obviously have no idea what I mean by sick. First of all I have followed JTs career since his junior yr at Timpview. I have seen probably close to 150 games he has played (most of them while he was at BYU) and I can count on one hand how many times the man has dunked. So yes anytime he gets high enough above the rim to throw it down to me it is sick.

OK, that makes more sense. I actually puked a bit in my mouth when I saw JT dunk in the game last night--"You call that a dunk pansyboy?' is what I was screaming at my tv.

On a side note, I agree with BlueK, 'Marlon' Brown has had some monstrous dunks this year.

Yes Carlon has had some great dunks. I bet he would love to play against Nevill he would posterize him all day long.

Also the next BYU game you watch, take special notice of Miles and how it takes him 5 seconds to gather himself, and bounce the ball off the floor to throw it down. It is awful. He is 6'11 for goodness sakes.

He caught one last night where he was wide open under the rim for an easy potential reverse dunk - it looked like he wanted to dunk it but quickly realized that wasn't going to be a possibility and he layed it in like any big white stiff would do. Again, he's 6'11" for goodness sake.

we always can rely on noah to play the race card. Utah's two best recruits are white, noah.

I'm sure you would do just as horrible at CEU, or any other institute of higher education, as you did at SFHS.

Tom Chambers was from Boulder, Colorado. Josh Grant was a star on a very good team that I forgot.

Wait a second. According to your football thread about BYU ranked opponents, if they fell out of the rankings the win no longer carried value.

If Kepkay was one of the top 2 recruits in the state 2 years ago, I'm glad we didn't get him! SU you are really lost it saying that.

As to whether Utah players are stars is kind of a joke isn't it? Who are you comparing Utah too? The state of Cali? Texas? The # of people kind of throw that equation out doesn't it?

Utah may not produce "stars" but as has been stated several Utah kids are now getting offers to several different schools. Some are saying that if Kyle Collinsworth lived OUTSIDE Utah, he would easily be a 5 star kid. So does that mean he isn't as good because he is from Utah?
