One of the two showed up for the Utes tonight in the T&M. Good win. This team is a head scratcher. After looking out of sync and totally lost on offense against the Lobos, the offense was in rhythm against one of the better pressure defense teams in the conference. Good experience with late game pressure for Glover hitting a critical FT with 7.5 sec left.

Who knows what next week will bring

They played without their best player again. I'm sorry. But what kind of BS is that, having the funeral the night of the kid's big game. He's a stepson, and it's not like they play every night.

This team has not been a head scratcher since Foster and Watkins returned to the lineup. The Pit has always been a bad place for any team to play, and we've not done well there for decades. They are jelling just in time. Foster is a major presence.

Watkins has had a snake-bitten season thus far. Hopefully, he can find himself in the lineup for the rest of the conference and post season.

This team did accomplish something last years team did not...a road win against the upper tier of the conference.

What a great win. Thankfully it came down to foul shots because if it would have come down to making a shot we would been in trouble.

The more I watch this team and come to see its limits the more I like it.

Drca... He's a senior guard who at times plays like a freshmen
Brown... sometimes can win a game for you but most of the time is selfish
henderson... still makes freshmen mistakes but is the best freshmen guard Utah has had in a long time.
Foster... I wish he had an offensive move. He would be unstoppable. His defense doesnt need repeating
Glover... The most potential IMO of all the freshmen. He is going to be a real nice player for Utah. reminds me of Bryant Markson as a freshmen.

btw... it looked sold out in the T&M tonight. That is what the huntsman center would look like if the Jazz moved to vegas.

Is this in the works? God please let it be so.

no... although I would be surprised to see the sacramento kings move there.

Overall, Utah looked very good tonight. Boylen has the Utes playing with so much more intensity than during the Giac years, for which I feel nostalgic. I'm looking forward to seeing if Emery can stop Henderson who was phenomenal beyond the arc.

And Drca gets my vote for MWC Chickenshit POY. I saw at least four cheap shots tonight, which is probably around his game average. But I didn't see him kick anyone, so perhaps there's improvement there as well.

It had all of the makings of a typical Utah/UNLV game with Utah leading most of the way only to give it up at the end, so it was nice to see them hang on to get a big road win. Not many teams will go into the Thomas and Mack and get a win. This is the kind of win that Boylen needs a few of during this "rebuilding" season with so many new and young guys.

They need to take the momentum from this win and beat SDSU and Air Force at home before heading down to BYU and likely getting creamed in the MC.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Stat of the night: The Utes have only had 4 games this year with a full complement of players.

                      No wonder we're inconsistent.

However, the upside to this is that the young guys are getting better by leaps and bounds. Between the TCU and UNLV games, I am quickly becoming a Glover fan. 7 rebounds? Nice. He's got the tools to be a defensive force too: he's quick, athletic, has length, and is quick off the floor.

I have said all season that I'd wait until the season was over before piling on Boylen. His teams have always improved as the season has gone on, and we're seeing that again.

If/when Foster and Washburn develop any kind of post play with Henderson and Brown on the wings, this team is going to be really, REALLY, fun to watch.

                      Go Utes!

Good call. This Ute team has turned the corner -- no way will they go and stink it up by shooting 35% from the field on their home court against a defensively mediocre SDSU team.

SDSU did shoot 10/23 from the FT line -- it can be tough to beat a team that is so clutch from the line.

I was following it on ESPN gamecast it looked like SDSU tried its best to lose that game.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Its also amazing with such a force in Foster, and then also a 6'11 Tillie and a 7 foot Washburn Utah is the worst rebounding team in the MWC.

SDSU was also with out one of their better players in Tim Shelton.

By the way I am going to say that if Henderson is the best freshman Utah has had in a long time they are horrible at recruiting, he is shooting an astounding 33% from the floor.
