Perhaps there is no right answer. Maybe everything isn't as simple as black and grey.
Convince me that hate is the opposite of love. I'm open to changing my mind.

I listened to Beck for awhile durign the primaries. He had some interesting guests. But it seemed that after the primaries he started monologuing all the time and he started to slip off the deep end. After Obama got elected, he has gone absolutely crazy. I can't stand the sound of his voice. His TV show became intolerable. I wonder if he became too drunk on his own success.

Help me out. Provide some examples of what you can't stand.

You have already made up your mind (although you have misquoted the talk that you are plagiarizing!)

I didn't realize that I was plagiarizing. From now on, I'll say that "I've heard that the opposite of love is indifference. One has to care in order to hate."

Saying that I've already made up my mind is a cop out, but I'll play your game:

Tell me why you believe that hate is the opposite of love., so I can have a better understanding of why you would believe that.

Success for these guys can become a feedback loop. For example, Keith Olberman's special segments where he would turn to a different camera and the lighting would change followed by a 'truth to power' diatribe about some serious topic were pretty good in the beginning. Then he caught wind of how popular they were and he started doing those special segments about increasingly minor things. Half of the right-wing loonies, appear to me, to be the product of one-upmanship in a vicious feedback loop. Hitler mustaches on Obama? They seriously went there? (I would say the same about the liberals that put Hitler mustaches on Bush)

Wasn't a vote for Obama the best way to overcome this bias?

                    Agreed.

That's why, while I don't agree with Beck, I don't think he's batshit crazy. He's just pointing out what the rest of the media is afraid to do because of the color of Obama's skin.

By right-wing loonies, are you referring to random individuals at protests, or conservative television and radio hosts?

And Lebowski, you are seriously disappointing me in this thread.

Seriously, all of this libel without any arguments backing it up is getting embarrassing.
