I guess what you mean by "willing to work with Democrats" is to give them everything they want.

Great point. I’m sure geriatric poll workers are much better at picking out fake id than usps workers.

Every employee of the USPS I have met are lucky to have an high school education.

At polling locations in Texas both parties have poll observers to make sure things are done correctly. If the geriatric poll worker gets out of line then can make a complaint and have them removed. I don't see poll observers watching the USPS workers.

Some people are Democrats because they like the platform they espouse. Some people are Republicans because they like the platform they espouse, but but both are absolutely complicit in the shit show you see today. Sure Trump is an incompetent asshole, but to hear Dems say the nastiness is only Trump and he came to power in a vacuum is nonsense. I hope Biden de-escalates the back and forth. I really hope he does.
I hope Biden sincerely tries to reach across the aisle and unite the country. I don't know if he will, but I do know Trump will never reach across the aisle. Trump is all about divide and conquer. He doesn't know any other way, so that's what we'll get with him. At least with Biden there's hope that we can repair some of the damage that has been done the country the last four years. With Trump, there is no hope that things will get better.

You are correct. The guy left the ballots behind on a nearby car and people got their mail and ballots back. As the same news outlet noted, "fact-checking organizations, including Associated Press, and election officials have found that voter fraud via mail ballots is rare."

That's pretty bad. However, why are people putting their ballots in their own mailboxes to mail them out? Why not drop them off in a locked post office drop box? The answer is probably that the conservatives are too dumb to take the proper precautions.

Last White House Offer Was $1.6 Trillion
                              (Article below will update)

The White House is preparing a $1.8 trillion coronavirus relief offer, its largest proposal to date in the long running negotiations with congressional Democrats, according to people familiar with the discussions.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin is expected to discuss a new $1.8 trillion proposal with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) when the two speak Friday.

The White House proposal marks a further winnowing of the distance between the administration and Democratic leaders over the bill’s overall price tag.

“Covid Relief Negotiations are moving along. Go Big!” President Trump said in a tweet Friday.

Democrats last week passed a $2.2 trillion aid package, a scaled-back version of their earlier $3.5 trillion legislation. Mr. Mnuchin had previously proposed a $1.6 trillion offer.

White House adviser Larry Kudlow said Friday that Mr. Trump had approved moving ahead with a revised stimulus offer that would include aid for small businesses and airlines, as well as checks for households.
                              [...]
The Trump administration increased its offer to Democrats on a coronavirus-relief package, further closing the gap between the parties in a bid to pass new aid for households and businesses before the election.

                              Drumpf, what a joker.

Good article on Trump's debt, which is coming due during the first term of Pres Biden

                                Couple interesting snippets:

One of the first debts coming due is on the president’s signature property, Trump Tower, which has a $100 million loan that matures in September 2022. That loan was made by Ladder Capital, which sold it to investors in the form of commercial mortgage-backed securities.

Other loans coming due for Mr. Trump are tied to his other major businesses, hotels and golf courses, which have also been hit by the pandemic. Deutsche Bank lent $125 million for his Trump National Doral Miami golf resort, due in 2023, and as much as $170 million, due in 2024, for the Trump International Hotel in Washington.
Looks like Trump doesn't owe Russia anything that is due in the next four years, at least not directly. Seems like that concern can be put to bed.

The Trump Organization isn’t carrying a particularly heavy debt load relative to its generally high-quality assets, and it has generated significant cash from its properties and asset sales. But the market for commercial real-estate loans is struggling.
So a manageable debt load and significant cash. He can still be a bad businessman but its clear he's not in the financial trouble think he is. Oh, and not paying taxes in most years, yeah, that doesn't mean he's not making money but I'm sure the internet CPAs like commando and wuap will tell me otherwise.

“The only people who will put money into refinancing the Trump debt will be people who don’t really care about the money,” said Mr. Painter, a Trump critic. Rather it will be “because they want something else from Donald Trump.”
This is, IMO, the biggest concern in regards to his debt. The opportunity for corruption which is why his smoke and mirrors act of not divesting of his business while pretending to divest of them is such a big issue.
