They won't be able to ban fracking. Obama's own commission found that fracking is safe and doesn't contaminate drinking water. They can probably quasi-ban it on federal lands by not issuing permits or slowing the process down, which would be very bad for New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming but it won't affect Texas much. I don't know about polling. I do know that beet-red Arizona is flipping blue. It's a different vibe- people are done with the over-the-top racism and corruption. Sheriff Joe got the boot. Martha McSally, one of Trump's emissaries in AZ, lost to Synema. Martha McSally was appointed anyway to replace John McCain and now she's getting her ass kicked by Mark Kelly. I think that's a pretty good litmus test.
