Yep, Pennsylvania isn’t going to matter at this point. Biden will take Michigan and Wisconsin and only then needs Nevada. This will be inevitable soon and most people will accept it.

      • Wow. This is nuts. Sleepy Joe might pull it off.

This is vaguely reminiscent of 11 p.m. in 2016 ... but in reverse (and in slow motion): Biden’s the narrow favorite in PA, WI, MI, AZ, NV, GA, and it could take a while.

            • Nevada is surprisingly close. Biden leads by less than 8,000. I expect Biden to win now, but way to close for comfort. Not sure why it is taking so long to count in PA. Everyone else seems to have been able to count 90%+ in the same amount of time. Is there something special about the vote in PA that has made it more difficult to count?

              • Would have preferred a more resounding defeat of Trump, but I'll take it (assuming this plays out).

Having a D president and an R senate has some benefits. Hello gridlock.

Who knows. I wouldn't be surprised, but you would think several other Republicans will also want to.

A Biden win with Republicans holding the senate was my preferred outcome. I too would have preferred a larger repudiation of trump but that probably would have resulted in the senate flipping.

I need an updated ruling from Fusnik on whether the American Experiment is over.

Shortly after a break-up you didn't want or ask for, you will be amazed by how much better off you are and wonder how you could have ever put up with her for as long as you did. (Resident experts here can confirm.)

Trump can spend the rest of his life squandering his billions in wanton luxury, complaining of fraud to the dwindling few that will still listen.

It wasn’t hard seeing the outcome of the election simply by reading any political thread here by what should be a group of ‘rational’ educated conservatives. If an accomplished educated conservative wasn’t sprinting from Trump after the last 4 years they most likely were going to vote for him. If y’all were voting for him what do you think the average or below average person in America was going to do?

Sure many said they were voting for Biden/third party but it was obvious most were coming home to Trumpism.

                          • A near perfect outcome for Republicans. A one-term, punchless Democratic president with no mandate and a Vice-President who can’t win next election, control of the senate, and rid of the cancer Trump. With Trump gone, the radical left loss its oxygen.

                                Hear hear.

I’m also surprised with the house. The narrative going into Tuesday was that it was safe for Ds and the question was how much could they build on their majority. If all rep races ended where they are now, Democrats would keep the majority by a single vote.

Really, the only thing that could have been better in the realm of reality was a presidential election so decisive that no one, not even trump, could cry foul. Oh well.
