It's clear to me, in the age of cheap global travel, that the USA needs a few quarantine sites around the country that could deal with potentially thousands of infected citizens who need to come home from abroad, but who might pose a danger to others.

Hah. I wasn't doubting the legality of it. Japanese Internment camps were legal. Camps where they are housing illegal immigrants are legal. Doesn't mean that things are going to work out as we think they might.

I'm all for quarantine...but someone somewhere is going to pitch a fit and all hell will break loose.

No doubt. But common sense is a rare thing today.

Who are these dickheads hoarding toilet paper? Why?
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I was helping a guy in our ward move stuff to his garage in preparation for a move. He had at least 15 of those large Charmin toilet paper packages you buy at Costco. I told him there's a fine between being prepared and being a hoarder. Of course he's been hoarding for a long time--so not because of the coronavirus.

Gathering stuff during a time of plenty isn't hoarding. Taking more than you need when everybody else wants some and can't get it is, though.

                      Maybe he struggles with diarrhea?

How many rolls of toilet paper are you stockpiling, Scott?

My wife sent me a photo today of some jerk in the Costco lot with an entire pickup full of bottled water. And cases of baby wipes. What is wrong with people?
